OPENINGS

Teaching assistant (also known as parent assistant) positions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis to parents (or other family members).

Please indicate on your child(ren)’s application that you would like to TA and you will be assigned to classroom.

TAs are responsible for taking guidance from teachers and duties may change from week to week. TAs volunteer one or both of the 2 days each week. TAs will also be our first choice when requiring substitutes. 

Seguin City Light is looking for teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Pay is up to $25/hour

Schedule is 5.5hrs each Tuesday and Thursday; August- May (excluding holiday breaks). 

Preference will be given to those who have taught in a school setting and have worked with or been a homeschooling family.

PTA Members 

Seguin City Light is looking for 5 parents to join our school PTA.

Members will meet monthly and will be responsible for representing our program in the community. Some duties may include: helping to  recruit families, fundraising, family days and community projects. This position will require 5-10 hours per semester and can replace classroom volunteer hours.
